In 2007 the URSC inaugurated the Jack Kyle Bursary. This is 100% sponsored by the URSC and is awarded on an annual basis to an up and coming member of the Ulster Rugby Academy. The bursary, which is now in its sixth year, is currently worth £2,000 and has been previously awarded to Craig Gilroy, Paddy McAlister, Ian Whiten, Mark McCrea, Ian Whitten and Ian Henderson.

Last season we launched our first Big Ballot, with all proceeds going towards the Bursary, with tickets on sale on match nights at Ravenhill. This was a great success and we are delighted to be able to repeat this initiative for the 2011/12 Season.
