Five years ago this Friday, on 15 September 2012,
Nevin Spence tragically lost his life in a farming
accident, alongside his father Noel and brother
Graham.
At the time, Johann Muller promised, “… going forward, at
Ulster Rugby, one thing will never change. As long as this great
club exists, the person and the player, Nevin Spence, will never
be forgotten”, and Ulster hasn’t forgotten, and will not forget.
Accordingly, at the Guinness Pro 14 match against Scarlets at Kingspan on this fifth anniversary, Ulster Rugby – players, coaches, management, staff and supporters – will unite as we always do, to remember Nevin and his family and what they stood for;
-
Ulster Rugby have produced a documentary which can be viewed by clicking HERE
-
There will be a moment of silence before kick off
-
Supporters white rally towels will be given out to all supporters on entry to stadium
Ulster Rugby are asking all supporters at the match to hold the white rally towels aloft during the moment of silence.
We ask for your support in this, as we still remember Nevin, Noel, Graham and the wider Spence family at this sad anniversary time.
