Nov/Dec Player of Months – VOTING CLOSED

An away win (at last!) at Rodney Parade proved to be a false dawn …. with a thrashing by Sarries proving to be a chastening experience for all concerned. A narrow defeat (and missed opportunity) at the RDS followed. However the win against Edinburgh proved a portent of things to come. Thereafter the home and away wins against Toulouse were as spectacular as they were unexpected. The follow up win at high flying Connacht, whilst not a thing of beauty, showed real guts and pride. Our team is back.

PotM Paul Marshall

Paul Marshall was the URSC choice for September & October , but who was Ulster’s Player of the Month(s) for November and December? The choice is yours, but here are a few suggestions:

Rory Scholes …. great lines…super try against Edinburgh….strength in depth….

Kyle McCall …. carries … tackles …. lifts … seriously hard for a boy band member

Ruan Pienaar …. simply the smoothest …. simply the best

Robbie Diack …. superb athletic line out option …. stood up and stood out against the much vaunted Toulouse back row

Alan O’Connor …. where’s he been this season? Presumably in a cage eating raw meat …. waiting to released onto the pitch!

Luke Marshall …. Luke 13: “He was lost, but now is found…”

Nick Williams …. given up eating pies and fries …. for scoring tries

Of course all Ulster players can have your vote – the choice is yours

Vote by email to  (putting “Player of the Month” as the subject),
