Funeral Service for the Spence Family

The funeral for Nevin Spence, his brother Graham and father Noel will be held on Wednesday.  We have been asked to correct our earlier post – the house is private but the service at Ballynahinch Baptist Church is for family and friends, all of whom are very welcome to attend.

In recognition of the wish of many in the wider rugby community to pay their respects, Ulster Rugby are pleased to invite as many as who wish to attend a memorial service at Ravenhill on Sunday 23rd September at 3pm. This will afford rugby supporters as well as the general public an opportunity to pay their respects to not just Nevin, a young man who has graced the pitch at the Belfast stadium, but also his father and brother, who died side by side on their home farm.

The gates of Ravenhill Rugby Grounds will be open from 2pm on Sunday, but no parking will be available inside the stadium. Ulster Rugby would ask those wishing to attend to be mindful of local residents and to avoid parking in the immediate vicinity of the grounds.

Complimentary Park’n’Ride facilities are located at Pirrie Park on the Ravenhill side of the ground, and along Montgomery Road, on the Mount Merrion side.
