Following the success of last year’s BBQ we are delighted to retain Challas South African Spit Roast as our specialist caterer for the 2012 Event.
This will be held on the afternoon of Saturday 25th August.
Prices: £10 per adult and £5 for under 14′s.
Tickets: These will be be available from URSC Committee members at the Open Day on Friday 3rd August and the URSC Information Point on match days, Leicester Tigers (18th August) and Newcastle Falcons (24th August).
Menu: Challas Marinated Whole Chickens + Pork legs spit roast + “Hoender Sosaties” (Mini marinated chicken curry skewers with apricot & red onion)
“Boere wors” South African style beef sausage with sweet chilli sauce
Pork sausage with our home made marinade
Potato salad with chives
Fresh Green salad with Challas salad dressing on the side
Rosemary roast baby potatoes cooked in the spit in meat juices

Is admittance by tkt only or can you pay on the day?
Admission by ticket only. You can buy before Saturday’s game, or by post to URSC BBQ c/o Ravenhill, in which case we will reserve places and you can then collect your tickets at the door on the day.
CAN NON-MEMBERS COME? IF YES I ASSUME THE ADULTS WILL PAY £10 EACH OR IS IT DEARER FOR THE NON-MEMBERS?

Non members are very welcome – Price is the same. BBQ kicks off around 2pm.
