Latest News for Northampton

There is still considerable doubt over the train service to Milton Keynes on Sunday, due to an unofficial overtime ban by drivers.

The Saints Supporters Club are running buses and are still taking bookings. Click here for details of Saints Buses

They are up to six buses so far.  The deadline for booking is Thursday at 12 noon.  Prices for non members are £8.50 return.

There are also still some spaces on Ali Treliving’s ‘Ulster Buses’ but these are filling up fast.  More details here

The URSC meeting point for the weekend is the Thomas a Becket.

This is Northampton’s best rugby bar and will be showing the quarterfinals on Saturday.  It is also the favourite haunt of the Saints fans so a good atmosphere is assured.  We are assured that there is loads of space…….

The bar at Franklin Gardens will be open after our quarterfinal on Sunday, following the return of the supporters’ buses from MK.  Ulster fans will be very welcome to join in the post match celebrations/inquest/commiserations.

If you are travelling down to MK by car on Sunday then be warned that parking is not great near the ground. We are told that the stadium parking has all been pre booked.

Alternative parking is available in the Denbigh West industrial estate. After passing the stadium entrance on your left, turn right at the next roundabout, (Granby roundabout), and then take the next turn left, and immediately left again onto the industrial estate. Pedestrian crossings towards ASDA will allow access back towards the ground.

Probably best to get there early.
